Iris Buchholz Chocolate
performance, social practice
Natural biodegradable confetti made from plants and dry leaves will be produced. Due to the tropical climate the colour palette will be mainly green and brown. The performance will pop up in formal and informal neighbourhoods in Luanda and invite each time a small number of participants to shower themselves together with natural confetti, while expressing joy. — This moment of high energy intends to be a pause to the many challenges citizens are facing during the harsh economic crisis Angola is currently facing — creating community, joy and laughter in order to celebrate the miracle that life is.
