Support uncommissioned
Public art doesn’t fund itself. But it should.
uncommissioned is built on the belief that art belongs in public—where it’s free, surprising, and maybe a little bit disruptive. Every dollar you give helps us support the artists doing this work with care, courage, and no safety net.
We’re asking you to take this leap with us.
How to Donate
We offer two ways to support, depending on what works best for you:
If you want a tax write-off:
Donate through our Fractured Atlas portal (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit). Your gift is tax-deductible and will go directly toward artist support and programming.
If you’re donating to support a specific artist, please write their name in the memo line.
That way, we can allocate the funds correctly. If no name is listed, your donation will go to the general fund to support programming and other collective needs.
If you just want to back the movement, no paperwork needed:
Use [GiveButter] for a quick and easy donation. This helps us move fast and meet immediate needs.
Where Your Money Goes
We’re committed to full transparency. All donations go toward:
Fair compensation for artists
Producing and documenting new works
Community programming and workshops
Keeping public art accessible and alive
Why This Matters
This entire project is a leap of faith. No corporate backers. No waiting for permission. Just artists—and a few very stubborn organizers—putting art back where it belongs.
If you’ve ever walked past a piece of street art and felt something, we hope you’ll help us keep that feeling alive.
Your support makes this possible. Thank you for being part of it.
