Nung-Hsin Hu
Aluminum and UV prints on plywood, performance; 65x72cm
After becoming a parent, I began exploring my neighborhood in Taiwan with a baby stroller. I quickly realized that many of the older sidewalks were never designed with accessibility in mind. This everyday experience led me to reimagine urban infrastructure through both a playful and practical lens. I envision creating a foldable ramp that opens like a children’s picture book. As I travel with the stroller, the ramp would bridge uneven sidewalks while teaching my baby traffic safety-related words. Through this small, performative gesture, I hope to invite public reflection on safety, care, and inclusivity within our shared urban spaces.
